December 2006 the Church of St. Lawrence, Prague 1 - a benefit concert for the
Czech Parkinson's Disease Society given in co-operation with GSK s.r.o. Prague.
The concert is the first action of the enlightenment project “33 Grades for the
Parkinson Disease”. The goal of the project is to improve the general awareness
of the Parkinson disease. The purpose of the project 33°PP is not to acquire
financial means, but to inform the public that disabled people live among us.
Their disabilities may be for the most of us very hardly understandable and
often connected with false prejudices and myths.
9 December 2006 - the Chapel in Jesenik - Traditional benefit concert held under
the auspices of Ing. Cyril Svozil for Social Care Home for Young People in
Jesenik
Performers: Kocian quartet (Prague); Temple choir conducted by Rafaela Drgacova;
children from the Social Care Home for Young People. Collected entrance fees of
100 CZK and other voluntary contributions will be handed over to the head of the
Social Care Home for Young People. At 4.00 p.m. Oskera's brass band performs in
front of the Chapel.
