Frank Yerka
Frank Yerka has been devoted to music, with emphasis on the piano, since his early childhood. He studied under the tutelage of Dr.Jaromir Kriz at the Prague Conservatory. He developed an innate mastery of piano and during his studies successfully performed many times at public concerts held by the Conservatory. He graduated from the Conservatory with high distinction.

His exceptional musical memory and personal inclination led Mr. Yerka to the work of the legendary Johann Sebastian Bach. Bach œ music became an inseparable part of Frank œ repertoire, along with compositions from various styles and eras. He performed a series of Bach œ compositions on the Conservatory stage and studied various writing about Bach œ life, work, and the interpretation of his work.

Mr. Yerka is one of the few pianists to have mastered the Goldberg Variations. This huge, fulllength work is one of the most difficult Baroque pieces in terms of memorisation, virtuosity, and interpretation. The Variations are a monument to Bach œ compositional skills, his abundance of fantasy, and mastery of musical forms. The works contain all musical forms invented in the Baroque era.
